Medicare Assistance

Transitions Benefit Group Medicare Support

As a GDS employee, you and your loved ones will have access to Transitions Benefit Group’s Medicare and Social Security Support service.  As you or a loved one approaches Medicare and Social Security eligibility, Transitions can help you make a plan.  You will face decisions about the best time to start Social Security benefits, when and how to start Medicare benefits, whether your employer Medical and Pharmacy plan serves you better than Medicare would, and the consequences of not taking Medicare when first eligible. Whether you have questions for yourself or a parent or other loved one, you can speak to Transitions for guidance.  If you will be facing these decisions in the next few years, we invite you to review the Transitions resources on this page to become familiar with the valuable services they provide GDS employees.
